Diego is a highly experienced sales and outbound prospecting expert. After starting his career in Brazil, he relocated to Japan and then Ireland, and then back to Brazil.
He has worked in senior sales roles in companies such as Alibaba.com, Acesso Digital, and Oiti and was the first employee at Ramper, one of Brazil’s most innovative outbound technology platforms, where he developed considerable technical and practical expertise in all aspects of outbound new business prospecting, providing support and lead generation consultancy to clients such as Oracle, IBM, Lynx, Totvs, IFood, Binario Cloud, Creditas, PayPal, Stone, Dezzer and Nordica. He also created Ramper ‘s Enterprise department in which he developed the entire program of multi-layered structured cadences for large companies, delivering consistently positive results.
After cutting his teeth in various agency and in-house roles in London, ten years ago Alasdair relocated to São Paulo where he co founded Sherlock Communications, a multi-award winning Latin American PR and digital marketing agency, specialized on supporting international clients operating in the region. He has worked on a wide range of successful and internationally acclaimed campaigns for clients ranging from global blue chip brands to exciting start-ups and NGOs. He was recently named Best PR Professional in LATAM by the PRWeek Global Awards.
As a founder who has successfully grown his own business in Latin America over the last ten years, he is intimately acquainted with the challenges (but also the opportunities!) that come with business development and planned expansion in the region.
